Nothing beats the personalized experience of a private walking tour. I’m here for it! It’s a pleasure for me to introduce visitors to my adopted city on a private walking tour. I’ve been living in Nice for several decades plus researched and wrote a book about Nice where I learned so much more..
Why take a private walking tour? Unlike group tours, private tours allow you to set your own pace. If something catches your attention or you prefer to linger at a site and ask questions, no problem! You’ll never be at the back of a large group, worried that you’ll miss what I’m explaining. On a private walking tour we can adjust the itinerary to the weather, local conditions or your personal interests. Do you need a rest break? No problem!
Why walk with Nice Uncovered? As a resident of Nice, I’ll share my local insights into the entire social, cultural, historical and culinary traditions of Nice. I’m there to answer any questions you might have right away and on any subject!
How long is a Nice Uncovered tour? Our walking tour can be of any length you desire. I find that between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 hours work best but I’m certainly open to longer tours that include breaks. The point is to immerse yourself in local culture, learn something and have fun!
You’ll find that my prices are competitive AND anyone who takes my tour gets a free voucher to download one of my audio tours.

Jeanne organized a fabulous tour of Vielle Nice (Old Town) for a small group of my friends.
Words cannot express how entertaining and informative every minute of the 2½ hour tour was.
Jeanne was friendly, knowledgeable, expert … truly in command: lots of fun stories and a multitude of hidden sights. Not to mention how beautifully she articulates.
We were so satisfied I have asked her to “uncover” the Carré d’Or and Musiciens neighborhoods for our next outing.
Rating? Five stars!
